Brethren, Pray for Us (1 Thess. 5:25)

WEEK ONE – FOCUS IS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING FROM HOME AND CROSS-BORDERS MISSION FIELDS

Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Thessalonians 5:16-18

MONDAY 1ST   Praise God for his faithfulness and enduring love upon us and for giving us the opportunity to serve him in this new month of November. As the year gradually draws to an end ask the Lord to continue to bless us and protect us from all the evil schemes of the  enemy.

TUESDAY 2ND  The leadership of Bukuru DCC has taken up the payment of the EMS Coordinator’s s salary as a head of unit. This gesture is admirable, encouraging and worthy of emulation. Ask God to bless Bukuru DCC for their demonstration of solid support for missions.

WEDNESDAY 3RD  An anonymous family donated a 14 Seater Bus to City Ministries (Gidan Bege) Kaduna, to be used in the ministry, praise God for this wonderful gift and ask him to bless this family abundantly.

THURSDAY 4TH   Appreciate God for the gift of 10 motorcycles to EMS from ECWA English Church Kano as part of their support for missions. Ask God to bless and uphold the Church and sustain their commitment to the work of spreading the gospel.

FRIDAY 5TH Thank God for raising an additional new supporter for EMS from Gombe DCC, ECWA Women Fellowship Good News GRA. Ask the Lord to open doors of blessings to them to fulfill this pledge and accomplish much more.

WEEK – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God Philippians 4:6

SATURDAY 6TH  EMS GOLDEN SUPPORTERS: Thank God for the success of the Golden Supporter initiative so far, the number of forms returned is low, we hope to receive more, pray that idea behind the initiative will resonate with many more people, who will join hands with EMS to advance the cause of the gospel.

SUNDAY 7TH   Praise God for granting the EMS Administrator journey mercies, to and from the Gambia. He was able to see a lot of things for himself which will inform future decision-making on how to improve strategies for effective ministry in the Gambia. His visit also served as a great encouragement to the Gambian mission.

MONDAY 8TH  EMS MANAGEMENT: Pray for a continuous infilling of the Holy Spirit to the entire management of EMS in order to be guided in all decision making that will be geared toward fulfilling the divine mandate of advancing God’s kingdom.

TUESDAY 9TH   EMS RETREAT CENTER RHIZHA:  Appreciate God for the safe return of the Lees from the United States. They are refreshed and  have since continued with ministry among of the Anaguta and other people groups within the Area. Pray that their ministry and the presence of the center in the area will continue to be a beacon that will lead to the salvation of many.

WEDNESDAY 10TH  EMS SUPPORTERS/PARTNERS: Praise God for many individuals and groups that He has been using to continue to support and partner with us to spread the gospel, ask him to bless them abundantly as we work together to fulfill his plan for the salvation of all mankind.

THURSDAY 11TH  NORTH WEST REGION: Praise God for fruitfulness in ministry, evident in the 18 persons who gave their lives to Christ in the previous month. Pray that they will experience growth and divine grace in their walk with God.

Pray for one of our supporters in the region, Elder Nuhu Maikano whose house was destroyed by fire as a result of an electrical mishap, ask God to open doors for him to replace all that was lost in the inferno.

Ask the Lord for open doors for funds to buy computers, textbooks, benches, doors and windows needed at EMS Field Mission School Kajinjiri

FRIDAY 12TH  SOUTH NORTH-WEST REGION:  The Mission Committee of Kwoi DCC has signed up for half support of a missionary (₦120,000) for a start, this decision indicates a strong commitment to partner with EMS in missions. Ask God to strengthen this partnership and give the committee the wherewithal to be able to meet up with this commitment.

Pray for the success of the  Golden Supporter Awareness scheduled for some DCCs in the region between 13th to 14th November and 20th-21 November God to prepare the hearts of all potential Golden Supporters to key into the initiative to raise maximum funds for the work of missions.

WEEK THREE – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

SATURDAY 13TH NORTH CENTRAL REGION: The Coordinator of Toro DCC has discovered a new mission station among the Zulawa people group in Toro, called Bilkeri, in Zull LCC. The members are mostly youths, they have raised a church building for worship and are preparing to build a pastorium. Ask the Lord to raise a vibrant missionary who will be deployed to this new station.

Three missionaries are needed urgently for deployment to three mission fileds, Bilkeri, Durbin Jarawa and Rando but there are no supporters on ground. Ask the Lord of the harvest to raise new supporters so that  missionaries will be deployed to these fields.

SUNDAY 14TH  SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION: Praise God for the success of Golden Supporter Alternative Funding Initiative Awareness for DCC leaders, pastors and mission elders in the region as well as the mission retreat that took place.

Ask the Lord to raise more supporters for our region which is currently facing challenges of paying missionaries’ salaries due lack of adequate support.

MONDAY 15TH EMS MEDICAL UNIT: Appreciate God for his divine healing upon our missionaries, we had only a few referrals in the previous month.

Pray for God’s healing upon Mrs. Salome Haruna who has been incapacitated due to ill-health and every other person receiving treatment in our facility.

TUESDAY 16TH EMS SCHOOLS: Pray that God will open doors for funds that are needed to complete various projects in the EMS Children and Field Mission Schools all over. The disruption in the academic calendar has affected the smooth running of academic activities, ask the Lord to empower the personnel in the different schools with wisdom and  grace to be able to cover the syllabus within the limited time.

WEDNESDAY 17TH     NORTH EAST REGION: Thank God for delivering the coordinators of Gombe and  Kume DCCs from a motor accident.

Ask the Lord to strengthen the faith of the new converts recorded this month as well as that  of those who renewed their commitments to God

THURSDAY 18TH MID CENTRAL REGION: Thank God for 17 persons who gave their lives to Christ and 105 others who rededicated their commitment to God, ask the Lord to uphold and strengthen their faith.

Praise the Lord for the relative calm that has returned to areas affected by the wanton killings carried out by Fulani militias in some communities in the region.  Ask the Lord to heal the land and nullify all plans by the enemies of peace to perpetrate more violence

FRIDAY 19TH CENTRAL REGION: Praise God for the success of the Golden Supporter Awareness in the region. We give God the Glory for using our missionaries mightily. Pray that the message of the Golden Supporter will continue to resonate with as many people as possible.

Ask God to open doors for funds and other resources needed to various projects in some of our mission fields in the region.

SATURDAY 20TH SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION: Praise God for the success of Golden Supporter Alternative Funding Initiative Awareness for DCC leaders, pastors and mission elders in the region as well as the mission retreat that was also organised

Ask the Lord to raise more supporters, as the is experiencing a dwindling of funds, this can potentially hamper efforts to effectively spread the gospel in the region.

SUNDAY 21ST MID- EAST REGION: Praise God for the success of the Missionaries’ Conference of the region, which held between 27th to 29th September and for the successful completion of the Regional’s House.

Pray for healing for Pastor Nicodemus Emmanuel from Nassarawa DCC, who was involved in an accident and is recieving treatment at FMC Keffi and for Rev. Isuwa Ruya who has problems with his vision.

MONDAY 22ND   FAR NORTH REGION: Thank God for his protection upon our missionaries in the region despite the rampant kidnappings and banditry that has taken hold in the region.

Ask the Lord to provide resources that are needed for roofing of churches five mission stations; Koki, Yartsamiya, Gidan Hadari, Unguwar Tabo and Boka.

WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON HOME AND CROSS-BORDERS MISSION FIELDS

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

TUESDAY 23RD   BENIN REPUBLIC: Appreciate God for the progress of ongoing field projects  in Burkina Faso which are almost at the level of completion.

Pray for God’s divine grace upon Brother Patrice and family as they move to Porto Novo to assist with the work there. Ask the Lord to bless the efforts made in Porto Novo, that it will bear fruits for His kingdom.

WEDNESDAY 24TH  TOGO: Ask the Lord to open doors for funds to meet the needs of a good vehicle for a more effective and safer coordination of activities in mission fields, a computer and printer for office use and plots of land to build on, at Adétikopé and Segbé mission fields in Lomé, all in the Togo Mission Field.

THURSDAY 25TH  BURKINA FASO: Thank God for the progress of the ministry in Burkina Faso, new grounds are being conquered for Jesus Christ. Our missionaries always demonstrate passion for this work they are involved in.

Ask the Lord for open doors to purchase church lands and build churches  in Burkina Faso as the people are not enthusiastic about worshipping in houses.

FRIDAY 26TH  GHANA: Appreciate God for the progress of the ministry of EMS in Ghana and for the commitment of  Rev. and Mrs Femi Oluwu. Ask the Lord to grant him an enabling environment to coordinate the national missionaries in Ghana.

Ask God to open doors for funds to enable the building of churches in two mission stations in Ghana, doing so will be very important to the ministry especially in Tamale, to avoid desertion by members due to absence of a church building.

SATURDAY 27TH  MALAWI: Praise God for his grace and sustenance upon all EMS missionaries in Malawi.

Ask the Lord to open doors for funds as the Mammans trust Him to begin the development of the ECWA land in the city of Blantyre, the second largest city in Malawi, for the expansion of the gospel.

SUNDAY 28TH  ZAMBIA: Praise God for the lifting of COVID-19restrictions in Zambia which hitherto posed a big challenge to the progress of the ministry of EMS in Zambia. Praise God for his healing upon Rev. Yusuf Kuzasuwat who was critically ill, his health has greatly improved to the glory of God.

Pray that God will raise support for the engagement of some indigenous Zambian missionaries who have been serving in the country as volunteers

MONDAY 30TH  TOGO: Appreciate God for the progress of missions in various stations in Togo, including the theological school which is getting ready to start a new session shortly.

Thank God for the seminar Rev. Amane Bodering organized for missionaries in South and North of Togo concerning the weaning of prayer houses. Ask the Lord to give him more wisdom as he begins to initiate plans to wean some churches in 2022.

TTHANK YOU FOR PRAYING WITH US THROUGH THE MONTH OF  NOVEMBER OF THE YEAR 2021 MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU RICHLY AND INCREASE YOUR FAITH IN JESUS NAME, PLEASE LET US CONTINUE TO PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.
