WEEK ONE – FOCUS IS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING FROM HOME AND CROSS-BORDERS MISSION FIELDS

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise — the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. Hebrew 13:15

WEDNESDAY 1ST  Praise God for his love, mercy and grace upon us throughout the year, appreciate him for ushering us into the new month of December, the last month of the year 2021. May his love and divine protection continue to envelope us. May he cause us to remain in him and bear fruits for his kingdom.

THURSDAY 2ND   Appreciate the Lord for raising 3 additional supporters in the North East Region, one in Waja DCC and two in Borno DCC. Ask the Lord to open more doors for them to be able to fulfill their pledge and meet their other needs

FRIDAY 3RD   An elder in the South East region, Chidi Okoro donated N20,000 as support for missions and has also promised to continue monthly. Ask the Lord to bless him abundantly and the business he is engaged in.

SATURDAY 4TH   Appreciate the Lord for delivering the Kuzaswats from two voodooist who desired to destroy the work they are doing but the Lord exposed them and their evil schemes.

SUNDAY 5TH   Praise God for the success of the recent Golden Supporter Awareness in various DCCs. Pray that God will water the message that has been shared and move all who heard to commit themselves to missions support.

NOTE:  EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY

FIRST (1ST) MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. THEREFORE, ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS. WE JOIN FAITH AND TRUST GOD IN ONE ACCORD WITH BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD FOR:

  • A STEADY AND FRUITFUL GROWTH OF THE WORK OF MISSIONS,
  • PEACE AND THE SALVATION OF NATIONS,
  • FOR REVIVAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE CHURCH.

OUR COOPERATE PRAYER TIME AT THE HEAD OFFICE IS 8-9AM, 12-1PM, AND 3-4 PM RESPECTIVELY. YOU CAN JOIN US IN PRAYERS WHEREVER YOU MAY BE AT THOSE TIMES OR MAKE OUT TIME OF YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE AS YOU ARE LED BY GOD. PLEASE, ENDEAVORE TO PRAY ALONG AS YOU FAST.

 MONDAY 6TH   Praise God for answered prayers, we have two new additional supporters from the South-North East Region, one from Taraba and another from Kaltungo, ask God to bless them abundantly and give them the grace and enablement to come through on their pledges.

TUESDAY 7TH   Praise God for healing the Gados, who were ill as a family and a member in Niger who was gravely ill with fever but they have all fully recovered now. Ask God to continue to keep them in good health and nourishment as they dedicate their lives to serve him.

                                              WEEK 2 – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:7-8

WEDNESDAY 8TH   EMS MANAGEMENT: Ask the Lord to grant the management of EMS wisdom and foresight as they plan activities and strategies for missions for next year 2022.

THURSDAY 9TH   EM STAFF: Praise God for the lives of all EMS staff who have dedicated themselves to work in his vineyard, may the Lord blessings be bestowed upon them all. As the year draws to a close, may they be empowered and refreshed to face the task ahead in the new year. 

FRIDAY 10TH   ECWA OUTREACH TO MUSLIMS (EOM): Praise be to God for providing funds for the training of field missionaries that cut across the Core and Central Regions of Northern Nigeria. A total of 82 persons were trained and the state of their health checked as well. Praise God for all those whom the Lord used to make this possible.

SATURDAY 11TH CENTRAL REGION: Pray for the spiritual growth and healing from illnesses for the members of EMS Prayer House Kagonu. Ask the Lord to demonstrate his power among them that they may see and believe.

SUNDAY 12TH   EMS SUPPORTERS/PARTNERS: Praise God for upholding the ministry of EMS of ECWA through support, donations and partnership from/with individuals and groups. Ask God to bless all of them and provide for all their needs especially in this month of festivities as we work together to ensure that all mankind come to the Knowledge of God’s saving grace.

MONDAY 13TH SOUTH NORTH-WEST: There has been difficulty in communication between Iddah and Kubacha DCCs, ask the Lord to bring more understanding and unity of purpose between them for the progress missions in these DCCs.

TUESDAY 14TH   MID-CENTRAL REGION: Our missionaries have in the previous month, reached out to 1,201 persons with the gospel, out of which 15 gave their lives to Christ and 100 persons. Ask the Lord to nurture them to grow in the faith.

                                      WEEK THREE – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

 WEDNESDAY 15TH CENTRAL REGION: Appreciate God for his healing upon Rev. Musa Bitrus in Kaffi DCC. Ask the Lord to continue to comfort Rev. Luka Gajere and his family who lost his wife and child in a boat mishap. Pray that God will give them grace and fortitude in their moments of grief.

THURSDAY 16TH   SOUTH EAST REGION: Thank God for keeping all our missionaries in the region safe and providing for their needs during the course of the previous month, despite insecurity, and high cost of living in the country.

Onitsha LCC is planning to take on the support of a missionary, pray that a positive decision will be reached concerning this impending need.

FRIDAY 17TH   EMS MEDICAL UNIT: Praise God for the improvement Mrs. Salome Haruna’s health condition, pray that the Lord will perfect his healing in her life. She has started work in Jos clinic for now.

There is a request for a staff that will replace the one in EMS Clinic Gbala gbala so that Mr Francis will come back to his family as proposed. Pray that the right decision will be taken concerning the matter.

SATURDAY 18TH   MID CENTRAL REGION: Praise God for enablement to witness to 1201 persons in the previous month. Pray for the 15 persons that surrendered their lives to Christ and 100 others who renewed their commitments to God, ask him to strengthen and uphold their faith.

Ask the Lord to open doors for resources for the roofing of Turab Prayer house and pastorium in Kagoro the structures have erected but there is need for roofing sheets and nails to bring the project to completion.

SUNDAY 19TH vvFAR NORTH REGION: Thank God for his protection and providence throughout the previous month. Praise God the for the positive response of the people with regards to Golden Supporters Funding Initiative.

Ask the Lord to open doors for funds needed for the roofing of church buildings in five stations; Koki, Yartsamiya, Gidan/Hadari, Unguwar/Tabo and Boka.

MONDAY 20TH   NORTH EAST REGION: Thank God for the success of the Fulani Seminar organized for missionaries in Yobe DCC, it has greatly encouraged many.

Ask God strengthen and open doors for the supporters and donors in the region especially the new ones, that God will help them in their commitment to support the work of missions.

TUESDAY 21ST   MID-CENTRAL REGION: Pray for God’s provision to purchase roofing sheets, nails and other items needed for the roofing of a church building that has been raised in Turab Prayer House, Kagoro in order to keep the members together as they serve God.

                                             WEEK 4 FOCUS IS ON CROSS-BORDERS MISSION FIELDS

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:12

WEDNESDAY 22ND   NORTH WEST REGION: Praise God for healing the regional coordinator Rev. Zakka Ma’aji, who was down due to ill health. He has fully recovered and has resumed his duties.

THURSDAY 23RD   MID EAST REGION:Praise God for the quick recovery of Pastor Nicodemus Emmanuel who suffered injuries in an accident in October.

Ask the Lord to heal Rev. Isuwa Ruya who is currently having challenges with his eyesight and for comfort to the family of Mrs. Naomi Bawa, one of our supporters in Lafia DCC who lost her son in a motor accident last month.

FRIDAY 24TH   NIGER REPUBLIC: Praise God for the life of Bourema in Torodi church, who is committed to the cause and has been very supportive to the missionary in the church. Ask the Lord to continue to use him for the expansion of the work over there.

SATURDAY 25TH   GHANA: Praise God for healing Rev. Femi Oluwo and the son of a member of ECWA Adekuwao church who were gravely ill but have fully recovered now as well as the son of Pastor Christopher who was knocked down by a vehicle but is doing fine now.

SUNDAY 26TH   Pappa and Boubakar are two new converts in Niger Republic, thank God saving them. Ask God to nurture them into spiritual growth and give them courage to stand firm in the faith.

MONDAY 27TH NIGER REPUBLIC: The security situation in the Republic of Niger is deteriorating as terrorists continue to launch attacks in several areas resulting in the destruction of many lives and properties. Ask the Lord to continue to protect all our missionaries and their church members from any of such attacks.

TUESDAY 28TH    MALAWI: The faith building project of a mission house in Malawi has experienced a setback due problem with the oven that is used to burn bricks, ask the Lord to provide what is needed in order to get the oven working again so that the project will continue.

WEDNESDAY 29TH   MALAWI: Ask the Lord to open doors for funds to the tune of 10 million kwacha which equivalent ₦5 million needed to purchase a bus for the ministry of EMS in Malawi.

THURSDAY 30TH   ZAMBIA: Ask the Lord to grant the Kuzasuwats good health, grace and spiritual guidance that they need to effectively lead the ministry of EMS of ECWA in Malawi.

FRIDAY 31ST   GHANA: Pray for God’s provision of means of mobility for the Ghana EMS missionaries for ministry purposes. Ask God to grant us victory over the land case that is lingering in court.

THANK YOU FOR PRAYING WITH US THROUGOUT THE YEAR 2021. MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU RICHLY AND INCREASE YOUR FAITH IN JESUS NAME, PLEASE LET US CONTINUE TO PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.
