WEEK ONE – FOCUS IS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING FROM HOME AND CROSS-BORDERS MISSION FIELDS
My tongue will proclaim your righteousness, your praises all day long

SUNDAY 1ST It is the first of August, appreciate God for this great privilege to live everyday in the abundance of his enduring grace and faithfulness. Pray that in this month we will take advantage of every opportunity to preach Christ through our words and actions to the glory of his name.
NOTE: EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY
FIRST (1ST) MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. THEREFORE, ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS. WE JOIN FAITH AND TRUST GOD IN ONE ACCORD WITH BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD FOR:
- A STEADY AND FRUITFUL GROWTH OF THE WORK OF MISSIONS,
- PEACE AND THE SALVATION OF NATIONS,
- FOR REVIVAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE CHURCH.
OUR COOPERATE PRAYER TIME AT THE
OFFICE IS 8-9AM, 12-1PM, AND 3-4 PM RESPECTIVELY. YOU CAN JOIN US IN PRAYERS WHEREVER YOU MAY BE AT THOSE TIMES OR MAKE OUT TIME OF YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE AS YOU ARE LED BY GOD. PLEASE, ENDEAVORE TO PRAY ALONG AS YOU FAST.
MONDAY 2ND Appreciate God for the safe return of one of our committed supporters, HRH Kpop Ham who was abducted. We prayed fervently for his release and the Lord intervened, glory be to God.
TUESDAY 3RD Praise God for the safe arrival of the Lees in the USA from Nigeria. Ask the Lord to give them a wonderful time of fellowship with their children an partners in the States.
WEDNESDAY 4TH Thank God for one additional new supporter from Gombe DCC and the overall increase in our support base in EMS, God is taking care of his own always. Praise God!
THURSDAY 5TH The “EMS Interactive Awareness” by the director and his team in Umuahia DCC on the 17th to 18th was a huge success. Pray that the message of the awareness will continue to resonate with people in the region and cause them to see the need to be involved in the work of saving souls for God’s kingdom.
FRIDAY 6TH Appreciate God for the steady support of missions in the Far North Region , we have a one new addition to our support base from Kano DCC.
SARTURDAY 7TH Praise God for the success of the supporters’ Forum in Akwanga DCC, pray that the impact of the message will cause more people to yield their hearts for missions.
Ask the Lord to open doors for funds to engage more missionaries needed in Markurdi, Akwanga and Lafia DCCs. WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS
Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit.

SUNDAY 8TH EMS MANAGEMENT: Pray that the Lord will give the management wisdom, grace and good health as they plan and implement decisions geared toward the advancement of the gospel through EMS.
MONDAY 9TH EMS GOLDEN SUPPORTERS: The golden supporters alternative funding initiative is gaining wide acceptance just as anticipated. Pray that the tempo will be sustained in order to help EMS fully achieve her objectives for missions in the 21st century.
TUESDAY 10TH EMS SCHOOLS: Academic activities are ongoing across all EMS Schools, ask the Lord to guide all our students and give them wisdom and understanding in the learning process.
WEDNESDAY DAY 11TH EMS TRAINING UNIT: Thank God for provision of funds through SIM Nigeria and Dr. and Mrs. Lee to undertake some important activities of the unit.
Pray for the success of the Trauma Healing workshop and Marriage Seminar planned by the unit in Kebbi. Ask the Lord to lead the way in the planning and eventual execution of these programs.
THURSDAY 12TH EMS STAFF: Pray that God will continue to bless and sustain all the staff of EMS and keep them safe in the hollow of his hands even as they stay committed to doing his will.
FRIDAY 13TH EMS SUPPORTERS/PARTNERS: God has been using many individuals and groups to continue supporting and partnering with us to spread the gospel, pray that God will bless them abundantly as we work together to fulfill his plan for the salvation of the whole world.
WEEK THREE – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Heb. 4:16)
SATURDAY14TH NORTH CENTRAL REGION: The Lord used Miss Afodia Nathan, Masters student of JETS to raise over a N100,000 for some of our Mission Field building projects. Ask the Lord to bless her and grant her heart’s desire. Pray for God’s divine healing upon our missionary pastor Sunday Ezekiel, from Toro DCC who us suffering from ill-health.
SUNDAY 15TH EMS SCHOOLS: The students of EMS children School Kufana have been temporarily moved to Jos due to the security threats in Kaduna State. Pray that God will help the students to adjust to the new environment and stay focused.
MONDAY 16TH ECWA OUTREACH MINISTRY: Praise God for his provision, protection and preservation of both staff and trainees. Thank God for our prayer and financial supporters whose support keeps us going.
TUESDAY 17TH FAR NORTH WEST REGION: Praise God for the successful surgery on our missionary, Rev. Musa Garba, ask the Lord to grant him total healing and strengthen him for ministry.
Ask the Lord to continue to preserve our missionaries and their flock in areas where Fulani bandits operate.
WEDNESDAY 18TH MEDICAL UNIT: Praise God for the success of the surgery on one of our staff, Mrs. Salome Haruna. Pray that the Lord will heal her completely through is divine power.
Appreciate God for the success of the Community Health Seminar, that our staff were part of. Pray that the knowledge and insights gained will be used put into use for God’s glory.
THURSDAY 19TH EMS RETREAT CENTRE: Pray for the Lees as they trust God for openings to speak about EMS in some Korean churches in the USA, ask God will open doors for partnership in many areas of ministry.
Pray that all the staff in Rhizha will continue to avail themselves to be used by God in various ways especially as they serve the missionaries and guests who come for renewal and retreat with God.
RIDAY 20TH MID EAST REGION: Praise God! Pastor & Mrs. Samuel Fal have arrived at EMS Field School Azharuma in Nasarawa DCC, pray that as they settle down to do ministry there, the Lord will use them to impact mightily on the lives of pupils and the community entirely.
SATURDAY 21ST FAR NORTH REGION: Praise God for the new converts we have recorded in this region and for the increase of members in Miga Prayer House, pray that this growth will be sustained to the glory and honor of his name.
Ask the Lord to open doors for resources needed for building projects in some Mission Stations in the region
SUNDAY 22ND ECWA OUTREACH MINISTRY: Pray for funds to print the 30 days Muslim Prayer Focus and for the mass production of Mp3 voice message for Muslims. Ask God to turn the heart of Muslims towards the cross through these messages.
MONDAY 23RD SOUTH EAST REGION: Praise God for three persons who have joined the flock in Umuaka Mission Station, another person in Nnobi Field also gave his life to Christ, ask the Lord to strengthen their faith him that they will stand firm in the faith
TUESDAY 24TH SOUTH EAST REGION: Praise God for the peace and calm that is gradually returning in most of the troubled areas in the South East Region, pray that it will be sustained. Thank God for the success of a major surgical procedure on the child of one of our missionaries. Pray that the child and other persons who are ill will be divinely healed through the power of God.
WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON HOME AND CROSS-BORDERS MISSION FIELDS
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2
WEDNESDAY NORTH EAST REGION: Thank for his provision of funds to roof Goshen Prayer House in Bore DCC.
Pray for God’s provision to enable the completion of projects in some mission stations, such as Lungu Prayer House in Bore DCC and two other buildings that have been damaged by rainstorm.
THURSDAY26TH SOUTH NORTH-WEST REGION: Praise God for his divine healing upon the coordinator of Iddah DCC, Rev. Yakubu Goma who was down due to illness for several weeks.
Thank God for the ordination and licensing of seven of our missionaries in Iddah DCC.
FRIDAY 27TH THE GAMBIA: Pray for funds needed for the purchase of additional furniture for ECWA Academy and for the construction of a permanent classroom block to accommodate Nursery 3 as well as the primary unit of the school.
SATURDAY 28TH NIGER REPUBLIC: Pray that our Mission Fields in Niger Republic will continue to experience growth and God’s grace, love and peace in all aspects. Pray that they will have a better understanding of the word of God.
SUNDAY 29TH MALAWI: Praise God for taking care of our missionaries in Malawi and for the successes of our efforts to advance God’s kingdom in the country. Ask God to provide funds to meet the pending needs of doing ministry in Malawi.
MONDAY 30TH CAMEROON: The EMS Coordinator of Cameroon is trusting God to provide him with a motorbike that will help him in the work, as the one he had was stolen while he was at the hospital with his family, ask God to provide one for him.
TUESDAY 31ST Pray that the power of God will be manifested across all EMS Cross Borders Mission Fields in and the efforts of our missionaries in these fields will bear lasting fruits for the kingdom of God.
